We say we will never become our parents
That we’d benefit from them; learn from their mistakes
But the cycle continues; their spirits are reborn
And we make the same mistakes
Become the cause of the same pains
And we don’t even know it
Until it’s too late
And you’re a grandparent

Laughter doesn’t always represent happiness

Some people just don’t get it. Laughter doesn’t always mean happiness. I laugh when I want to cry, when I want to scream, when I feel like I’m going crazy! I laugh through things because it’s my way of release. And when I’m tired of the smiling and laughing, I just don’t. And then you get all these question about, “are you okay?” & “what’s wrong?” When I’m just tired. Tired of having to ignore my life. Tired of living in my fantasy where everything is fine and dandy. I just get tired.
